Dinner @ kushin-bo last Wednesday (20/5/2009) with ex-kino colleagues.
my 1st time @ this buffet place - Recommended!

worth the money - S$35 aft GST.

u get crabs... sashimi.... cold prawns... wide selection of drinks + desserts.. hotpot... etc.

i will want to go back AGAIN! <3

[BIKE] East PCNs on Sunday,17 May 2009

the map i 'stolen' from somewhere...
the only route that we didn't cover was the Telok Kurau Park Connector.
hmmm - i think we just covered almost 30km on Sunday !

WOW...... and i thought we did just over 20km!

can't wait to try out the underwater function that I originally bought it for !

i'm on MC today...
down with fever/sore throat....might be caused by cycling yest ?!

Anyways, another cycle session with A. yesterday.
4pm - 11+pm... We must have cycled over 20km!

Start Point @ A.'s home,Chai Chee then to Tampines Park Connector (7 km)
via
> Bedok Reservoir Park
> Sun Plaza Park
> Pasir Ris Town Park
> Pasir Ris Park

afterwhich, headed for Pasir Ris Park Connector (2.4 km) where we rested for abit.
didn't get to see a pretty sunset due to cloudy skies....
nvm, next time!

our journey continued along Loyang Park Connector (3.5 km) to our dinner destination.
Seriously, felt like giving up when we reached the start of the LPC.
we carried on anyway... till we reached Changi Village where we had light dinner.
we were really in need of fluids at that point of time !!
didn't dared eat a heavy meal though, afraid i will puke ! hahaha

we were partially on the Changi Point Park Connector (1.6 km) as well.
crowded with families.youngsters @ Changi beach....

anyways, we cycled along the Coastal Park Connector (8 km).
This route was the highlight of yesterday's journey.
pretty amazing with planes taking off above us!

Passed through::

>Along the runways of Changi airport (didn't knw our airport was SOOO big till yest!)
>Coastline area (lots of trees too!!)
>ECP highway

And finally, East Coast Park ! (we covered Areas E/F/G/H)
Stop was @ the EC Lagoon Food Village where we had our dinner/supper.
this was around 10+pm.

The last & final stretch was along Siglap linear park to our finish point.
And completed at LAST!!! =)

i'm very satisfied with yesterday's biking session.
Can't believe that i could have done that !
Okay.... now that we're done with the East PCNs.... What's next ?!

It is a Saturday.

i don't have the mood to go out.

no idea why.

went to sing K with Mum in the morning/
grocery shopped for steamboat dinner/
steamboat dinner with family/
surfing the net,blog,usual online routine/
watching 爱到底 at the same time (i'm left with the last pair)
(Combination of 4 short films. touching/sad) ..and i teared quite abit.....

Anyways,i was looking through old pics from my Multiply account Gallery last night.
from my 21st bday to vacations to poly days.........
Brings back so much memories - those good'O times!
How time files.... feels like only yesterday......

i came up with my to-do list for the month MAY/JUNE and here goes...
To-do : MAY/JUNE 2009

: Bake : imissBaking..... yea,my own baking.
just found some old recipe cards from Mum's old stuff.
hmm-there's tiramisu cake, cream puffs, strawberry flan etc..
have to find some time & not-to-be-lazy to try the recipes out!

: Sew : long time since i held onto a needle-stick + thread....
creating dresses for my blythes/for sale. (ever since i started on my current JOB)
my 'mountain-high' stash of fabrics MUST be covered in layers of dust!
who knows - i may have lost my sewing techniques/skills....... HA!
i still have a stack of un-finished dresses (there must be at least 5 ?)
and i have a mini cushion project in mind too!

it will be another cycle session with A. tmr.

im finally done with my annual appraisal this morning. wasn't as bad as i thought it would be!!
just had Post Mother's day & Dad's early bday cake minutes ago....
mini truffle cake frm Prima Deli...it was average though!

dun really feel well since yest evening - body felt weird!?
i hope i'll get better tmr if not my weekends will be GoNe.......

my legs went weak as soon as we reached A.'s home!!
haaa~ that was almost 4~5hrs of cycling! (incl short phototaking/drinks break)
i must say its tougher than P.ubin ! (or mayb cos her niece's bike seat too small... )

Back from Indo !

i'm back frm my 3d2n trip to Batam,Indo over the long wkend...
i kinda miss the island.... (my last trip there was during CNY'09?)
only ' -ve' about this trip was the wait for ferry frm SIN-BTM!
i waited almost 6hrs!!! Wasted the whole afternoon hanging out @PageOne/eatery/cafe !
